Onboarding Paralegal – Conveyancing Team
Location: Romford
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you an organised, proactive legal professional with a passion for property law and delivering top-tier client service from day one? Join a friendly, high-performing conveyancing team as their next Onboarding Paralegal and play a key role in shaping the client journey.

About the Role:

As an Onboarding Paralegal, you will be the first point of contact for new clients within the conveyancing department. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process, gathering key documentation, conducting initial checks, and supporting the wider legal team to get each transaction off to the best possible start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the initial client onboarding process for residential conveyancing files
• Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
• Carry out ID checks, AML verification, and collect KYC documentation
• Prepare initial paperwork and engagement letters
• Input and manage accurate case information on the firm’s case management system
• Support the conveyancers by preparing files for legal work to begin
• Deliver outstanding client care from the very first interaction

About You

• Previous experience in conveyancing or residential property law is highly desirable
• Experience in a paralegal or legal support role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on client care
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
