Job Description

As a Data Solution Architect, you will take a lead role in architecture on our client’s solution delivery engagements, involving high levels of customer engagement. This role requires ongoing analysis of business requirements throughout the service lifecycle. Candidates should have a strong understanding of data architecture, analytics design, and project delivery life cycles, with experience working in client-facing environments.

Typically, the role involves:

• Translating business requirements into technical solutions and producing specifications
• Designing and implementing business intelligence and modern data analytics platform solutions
• Data architecture design and implementation
• Data modelling
• ETL, data integration, and data migration design and implementation
• Master data management system and process design and implementation
• Data quality system and process design and implementation
• Focus on data science, data visualization, AI, and ML
• Documenting solutions (e.g., data modelling, configuration, setup) including HLD and LLD
• Working within an agile project management methodology
• Managing team members daily
• Managing the technical delivery of solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data solution architecture, design, and rollout
• Experience with business intelligence tools, data modelling, data staging, and extraction processes, including data warehouses and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of multi-dimensional design, star schemas, facts, and dimensions
• Proficiency in ETL development techniques
• Experience optimizing data warehouse performance
• Experience across various industry sectors is advantageous
• Understanding of data management best practices, including data profiling, sourcing, cleansing, standardization, transformation, and matching routines
• Good knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/AWS/Oracle Cloud, R, and Python
