Paid Social Media Manager

Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays M50 3SP – hybrid, 2 days per week in the office

Type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours/week

Salary: £51,700 - £64,600 depending on experience + 10% Bonus

The role

Brilliant opportunity for an experienced, strategic (yet hands-on) Paid Social Media Manager to create and drive our digital marketing strategy and delivery roadmap across all social media channels.

Working to achieve targets alongside multiple stakeholders, with the support of your team you’ll manage relationships with internal marketing customers and external technology partners and platform owners such as Meta, LinkedIn, and more.

How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
  1. Lead the day-to-day operations of the Bupa in-house paid social media team
  2. Line management of 3 direct reports
  3. Shape and implement the paid social strategy to deliver performance, engagement, reach, and growth across brand and business units
  4. Measure campaign performance across platforms and channels, including consumer PMI, SME Insurance, Pay as You Go healthcare, and Care Services
  5. Oversee team output including administration, execution, budget management, reporting, research, analysis, and channel management
  6. Optimize campaigns from awareness through conversion to generate valuable new prospects
  7. Collaborate with media buying agency to ensure strategy alignment
  8. Identify opportunities to drive profitable volume for all business units
  9. Stay at the forefront of paid social media developments and leverage technology to improve efficiency
You
  1. Significant experience in paid social media, preferably within a digital marketing agency
  2. Proactive team management skills
  3. Strong commercial mindset and numerical confidence
  4. Experience delivering social media strategies for growth
  5. Excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholders
  6. Proven track record of driving business growth through paid social
  7. Experience working in a matrix environment
  8. Knowledge of digital marketing analytics and broader tactics
  9. Industry qualifications related to paid social are a plus
  10. Understanding of customer trends and ability to identify opportunities
