Our hybrid working model allows flexibility between the office, home, or other remote locations, with an expectation of attending the workplace approximately three days per week for collaboration and specific tasks.

What you will be doing

Core Physics roles include:

  1. Designing and substantiating reactor cores using deterministic and stochastic methods.
  2. Supporting the manufacture of reactor cores.
  3. Designing experiments and performing measurements in our zero-energy critical benchmarking facility.
  4. Supporting the UK submarine fleet with onboard tests and trials.
  5. Connecting with other physics centers, industry partners, civil nuclear, and academia.
  6. Researching and developing new improvements in reactor physics, including validation of new methods and exploring ways to maximize operational capability.

Additional Requirements
