Job Description:
The SAP/IT Business Partner - Business Analyst role is based in the UK on an initial 6-12 months contract, likely to extend due to a multi-year upgrade project.
Job Purpose:
- Act as the primary interface between IT and the business, aligning IT initiatives with business goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes and needs.
- Ensure delivery of IT solutions that meet requirements and add value.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Support continuous improvement of business processes and IT systems.
Focus Areas:
- Drive strategic IT initiatives supporting business objectives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to leverage technology for performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to identify revenue and cost-saving opportunities.
- Promote engagement between IT and business users.
- Align strategies with senior management.
Demand Management:
- Serve as the main contact for IT-related business requests.
- Support project prioritization with business cases.
- Attend meetings to align IT and business demands.
Business Analysis, Processes & Change Management:
- Understand, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Improve business processes and IT systems.
- Design and develop optimal processes and practices.
Solutions Development:
- Collaborate on developing and implementing solutions aligned with business goals.
- Analyze problems and recommend IT solutions.
Systems & Data Governance:
- Define and enforce IT standards and procedures.
- Collaborate on shared technology solutions.
- Drive adoption strategies and ensure governance when working with third parties.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Knowledge & Skills:
Essential:
- Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills.
- Analytical mindset and results-driven attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven IT delivery experience.
Desirable:
- Experience with IT project management.
- Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems.
