Temporary Kitchen Porter
Location: Rye East Sussex
Dates: Monday 2nd June 2025 & Tuesday 3rd June 2025
Hours: 10:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay: GBP12.31 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting a Temporary Kitchen Porter to assist in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and be confident working under pressure, maintaining cleanliness and supporting the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the kitchen and all equipment is kept clean and hygienic
• Wash up pots, pans, plates, and cutlery efficiently
• Assist with basic food prep tasks if required
• Remove rubbish and ensure bins are emptied and cleaned regularly
• Support the chefs and kitchen staff as needed
• Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar role
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Must be available on both working days listed
