Job Description

Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering or a technical equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the power management industry
• Understanding of power electronics, control theory, and multi-phase DC/DC buck converter topology
• Automotive power background and understanding of AEC-Q1xx Qualification is a plus
• Programming skills using LabVIEW or Python, with experience automating data collection
• Experience modeling power converter losses and/or power semiconductor characterization
• Proficiency with circuit simulation and PCB CAD tools
• Excellent lab-based problem-solving skills with the ability to follow data to root cause

Responsibilities

• Support the development and validation of best-in-class power solutions for cutting-edge digital power applications. Success requires collaboration across functional groups to understand market requirements, provide design targets, and verify performance at the device, system, and automotive environment levels.
• Develop power loss models to aid device design in making parametric tradeoffs
• Benchmark competitive products
• Characterize power devices and complete power stage assemblies for AEC-Q100 standard
• Analyze power losses to support smart driver designs
• Develop test strategies to verify system-level robustness of final designs
