Station Systems Technician – Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Carrying out planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
