Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex and critical work to help build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Ensuring SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and fixed
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and can multitask. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates
