Join Bradfield House in Worthing, West Sussex, as a Support Worker and provide care for people with severe learning disabilities, Autism, and behaviors that may be seen as challenging. You will support and encourage them to lead full, valued lives and promote independence.
You should be great with people—effective communicators who can explain themselves clearly and understand others' behaviors and expressions. A good sense of humor, resilience, and willingness to assist residents with personal hygiene are also important qualities.
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works collaboratively to provide care to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, you will utilize your skills to help support people lead fulfilling lives.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will employ your excellent communication skills and experience in Learning Disabilities & Autism to support individuals through their care pathway. The environment can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential. It's rewarding to see people improve because of your support—achieving things they couldn't do before.
You will work 35 hours per week, with shifts from 7am-2.30pm and 2pm-9.30pm, including weekends on a rota basis.

Bradfield House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division, offering a specialist residential service for men and women with learning disabilities, autism, and communication impairments. The home features two lounges, ten spacious en-suite bedrooms, and two enclosed gardens. It is located in Worthing's conservation area, close to the seafront, with easy access to transport links and local amenities.
Requirements: You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full-time. Student and Skilled Worker Visa holders for 20 hours are not accepted.
