About the Opportunity
Amentum are recruiting for an Assistant Estimator to join our Engineering and Technical Services team supporting our key client EDF Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK.
This is a key role within our project and engineering portfolio which is spread across our UK network at all UK sites and stations. You will be supported and mentored by experienced project engineering management professionals within Amentum and given the training and opportunities you need to develop and expand your project controls skills and leadership competency with larger and more complex projects.
You will be part of our large client lead team based on site at EDFs Sizewell B location that will will support multiple projects within their UK wide project portfolio with a focus on nuclear defueling and nuclear decommissioning. Since 1995 Sizewell B has generated 250 TWh of zero carbon electricity which is enough to power every home in Suffolk for 192 years or the equivalent of taking 42m cars off UK roads for a year.
