A leading international manufacturer is seeking an individual for a full-time position responsible for set ups and maintenance of assembly equipment. The candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems, train new employees, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
This individual is responsible for performing set ups on a variety of assembly department equipment for operators within the department. This person must be proficient in diagnosing/troubleshooting and making corrections/adjustments/repairs to a wide variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
Must be familiar with multiple types of presses and assembly sequences, as well as the ability to use various gaging/measuring devices to ensure product conforms to required specifications. The candidate must be able to effectively and efficiently train new employees in the area.
Additional responsibilities include participating in and implementing continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes to increase productivity and quality. The employee must maintain a clean, orderly work area and perform other duties as assigned by the Lead B or Supervisor.
Attendance at work is an essential function of the position. The role requires manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks. The candidate must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and work on their feet for the entire shift.
Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Overtime may be required as needed.
