Job Description: SEN Maths Teacher - Loughborough, Loughborough

SEN Maths Teacher (Autism)
Full time and Permanent, Term Time Only
Starting from £34,121 (actual salary)

Your New Role:

We are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Maths Teacher to join our team at our outdoor setting for students aged 11-19 in Leicestershire, near Loughborough. The role is full-time and permanent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering group sessions tailored for small groups of students in a homely environment that nurtures emotional engagement.
  • Incorporating outdoor learning into lessons to enhance educational experiences.
  • Supporting pupils in processing new information, understanding autism manifestations, and building trusting relationships.

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday (08:30am-3:30pm)
  • Term time only, 190 contact days, plus 5 inset days.
