Andy File Associates Limited are working as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client regarding this permanent vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises and taking on new staff across all departments.

Position Overview

They are looking to expand their chassis team. The starting rate is shown in this advert, with higher banding available for experience in building tippers, flat beds, drop sides, Luton bodies, cages, and vehicle transporters.

Machines Used

• Chop saws
• Pilous Alligator band saw
• Pillar drills

Key Duties

• Assembly of sub-frames, beds, headboards, and corner pillars
• Fitting vehicle accessories and safety equipment (electrical knowledge not essential)
• Installing tail lifts and fall from height bars
• Cutting aluminium and other materials
• Measuring, drilling, and preparing equipment for installation
• Reading and understanding drawings
• Welding (advantageous)
• General upkeep of the workshop and premises
