Andy File Associates Limited are working as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client regarding this permanent vacancy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client has experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises and hiring new staff across all departments.

Job Description

They are looking to expand their chassis team. The starting rate is shown in this advert, with a higher band available for experience in building tippers, flat beds, drop sides, Luton bodies, cages, and vehicle transporters.

Machines used: Chop saws, Pilous Alligator band saw, Pillar drills

Duties include:

• Assembly of sub-frames
• Assembly of beds and headboards
• Assembly of corner pillars
• Fitting vehicle accessories and safety equipment such as hand washes, lights, and beacons (electrical knowledge not essential as in-house electricians can terminate the fittings)
• Installing tail lifts
• Installing fall from height bars
• Cutting aluminium and other materials
• Measuring, drilling, and preparing equipment for installation
• Reading and understanding drawings

*Welding skills would be an advantage.

General upkeep of the workshop and premises to ensure smooth operations and vehicle conversions.

Candidates must be accurate, take pride in their work, and maintain high standards.
