A leading mental health foundation is seeking a psychologist or psychological therapist to join their Student Mental Health Team. This role involves providing assessments, interventions, and supporting a multi-disciplinary team in a trauma-informed service. Ideal candidates will have experience with complex mental health issues and a commitment to professional development.
We are looking for a psychologist or psychological therapist to join the Greater Manchester Student Mental Health Team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced therapist who would like to develop their understanding and skills of working with complex and co-morbid mental health presentations using a trauma informed perspective. Our friendly team already includes a Consultant clinical psychologist Lead, 2 Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychologist and CBT therapist. We sit within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a needs-led trauma informed service.
You will provide assessment and formulation of clinical needs, intervention (individual and group based) and supervision, CPD and reflective practice to inform a psychological perspective to team working.
You will support the psychology team in continuing to build strong and mutually supportive relationships within our University partnership and may provide outreach to one of the University sites.
