Job Title: Production Planning Manager

Highly successful design, development, and manufacturing organization with a commitment to R&D and investment in new technologies is looking for a talented Production Planning Manager to undertake a varied role supporting an electro-mechanical product portfolio.

As Production Planning Manager, your role is critical in managing the master planning on-site through an experienced team of planners, buyers, and schedulers. You will utilize your Master Scheduling background and strategic acumen to drive manufacturing efficiency improvements and ensure material is released to production effectively to support On Time Delivery (OTD).

First-class management and leadership skills are essential. You will lead, motivate, and develop your team, fostering a culture of master planning to help the company achieve its On Time Delivery and World Class Reliability goals.

Key accountabilities for the Production Planning Manager include:

1. Line management of the planning and demand management team on-site
2. Providing strategic input to drive change within the planning and demand function
3. Managing the material master process on SAP
4. Developing and optimizing processes and systems
5. Developing strong relationships with customers

To succeed in this role, you will be:

• A motivated, commercially focused individual with the ability to lead and drive system and business changes to ensure on-time delivery of materials to production
• Proven leadership and man-management skills
• Preferably with an engineering or supply chain qualification and several years of experience planning a complex production schedule
• Possessing first-class leadership and organizational skills
• Experienced with SAP or ERP/MRP systems
