Job description

We are looking to recruit a cleaner for our Co-op store in Choppington.

Pay Rate: £12.21
Position Type: Permanent
Contract Type: Part Time
Hours: 14.5 hours per week
Location: Co Op, 38 The Square, Choppington, Northumberland, England, NE62 5DA

Working Hours: 14.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, early morning starts around 7am.

Role Responsibilities

1. Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all SLAs.
2. Build knowledge of the cleaning area, work schedule, and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals following Health and Safety standards.
3. Complete all required training for the cleaning role.
4. Work effectively within a team and independently.
5. Build positive relationships with customers, deliver excellent customer service, and seek continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and reliable with a professional attitude.
