About the Department:

Our Treasury, Planning & Capital Technology team manages liquidity, funding, and capital resources, supporting various internal clients including Treasury, FP&A, and Global Controllers.

Current Challenges:

• Fragmented data ecosystem with ad hoc requirements.
• Complex derivatives trading data feeding into multiple processes.

Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) Development:

• Initiated five years ago to create a consolidated finance data platform.
• Serves as a distribution point for downstream processes, managing large data volumes.

Data Challenges and Evolution:

• Expansion from 5 to 30+ use cases for loans data.
• Transition from product-specific to a granular, asset-class agnostic data model.

Current Goals:

• Accelerate data adoption within FDW and downstream processes.
• Enhance controls and automate governance to meet regulatory standards.

Projects and Initiatives:

• EU C decommissioning, CCAR audit preparations, transitioning to Snowflake cloud platform.

Skills Required:

• Java and/or Scala Backend, Full Stack, Angular, Cloud DB (Snowflake), Relational DB (Sybase).
