Water Network Engineer/Modeller (Senior & Principal grades)

Overview

Our Water Network teams are based across the UK & Ireland, working on potable infrastructure & non-infrastructure projects, from feasibility studies to operational support and smart networks.

We are seeking Water Network Engineers/Modellers at various levels, from engineer to principal, to join our UK teams. These roles are hybrid, based at various UK offices, and offer opportunities to collaborate nationally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver technical projects within scope, time, and budget.
2. Ensure high-quality outputs and maintain strong client relationships.
3. Develop methodologies, guidance, and templates for engineering and modelling projects.
4. Innovate to improve efficiency and add value.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
6. Mentor team members and support their career development.
7. Lead or support tendering, proposals, and cost estimation.
8. Promote health and safety standards.
9. Apply industry-leading knowledge in water network modelling and engineering design.
10. Use hydraulic models to resolve engineering challenges.
11. Lead client liaison and project conversion.
12. Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
13. Prepare reports, guidance documents, and proposals.
14. Analyze data, solve problems, and work under pressure.
15. Lead and grow teams, with experience in GIS, coding, and tool development.
16. Manage projects financially and professionally, aiming for chartership if applicable.
