Job Description

A highly-successful Data Consultancy is seeking a Technical Architect to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions using Microsoft Fabric. This consultancy is both a Microsoft Partner and a Databricks Partner, specializing in helping clients better manage and unlock value from their data. They pride themselves on developing tailored, data-driven solutions to meet specific client needs, primarily within Financial Services and other industries.

In this role, you'll be involved from the early pre-sales stage of client projects—engaging with both technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, scope data solutions, and design and deliver these solutions with support from a technical Data Engineering team.

The responsibilities include high-level design and hands-on data engineering tasks such as data modeling, pipeline development and optimization, data governance, and documentation. The goal is to deliver top-tier, cost-effective solutions for clients.

This position is largely remote, with occasional visits to the Manchester office or on-site client meetings, requiring flexibility and an open mind.

Requirements:

1. Experience designing and developing data solutions using Fabric
2. Strong skills in SQL and Python
3. Experience with Azure tools such as Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database, etc.
4. Microsoft Certifications such as DP-600, DP-203, AZ-305 are highly desirable
5. Client-facing skills with excellent communication abilities
