About the role:

As a Product Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our product development team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

·Supporting the Product Development Team in day-to-day tasks

·Assisting with the development of new product concepts

·Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers

·Creating and maintaining product specifications

·Managing samples and prototypes

·Preparing presentations and reports

Key Responsibilities:

·Support new product development and product maintenance projects, assisting the end-to-end process from concept through to delivery, ensuring that products meet our brand standards, vision and commercial ambitions.

·Support management of product development projects from concept to brief to launch, ensuring adherence to critical path and project goals.

·Manage budgets, ensuring commercial feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

·Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and trends.

·Analyze competitor products and pricing and make recommendations.

·Review product performance and make recommendations.

·Develop and maintain product information sheets and detailed product specifications, including ingredients, packaging, and pricing.

·Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure products are produced to our specifications.

·Manage product samples and prototypes, including tracking, labelling, and distribution.

·Support in delivery of product artworks including management of artwork approval system.

·Manage library of product imagery and assets.

·Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external purposes.

·Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information and master data.

·Support the team with other ad-hoc product and brand work as assigned.

Previous Experience and Knowledge:

  • A relevant university degree or qualification
  • Passion for the beauty industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with working multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • Adaptable and resourceful
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ideally previous experience of a similar role, preferably in the beauty industry
