Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Dursley

Pay Range/Details: £15.27 per hour (double day shift, details below)

Contract Type: Temporary to permanent

A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their weaving department. The position is full-time on double day shifts, and after training, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join the weaving department, operating high-speed weaving machines, and ensuring all products meet pre-determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high-quality textile production.

Shift Pattern (Weekly Rotation)

1. Earlies: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-13:00
2. Lates: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00, Friday 13:00-20:00

Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator

• Operate and manage a variety of high-speed weaving machines
• Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
• Log and report any issues with sub-standard products or machinery
• Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
• Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast-paced setting

Candidate Requirements – Machine Operator

• At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Organised, proactive, and able to work efficiently under time pressures
