Events Crew - London Based

Location:

Salary:

£13 to £23 per hour (plus bonuses). Invoices are paid monthly, a month in hand.

Job Type:

Full-time or Part-time with very flexible working hours.

The Company:

Konnect Event Services is a premium supplier of Events Crew nationwide. We are looking for physically fit and motivated individuals to join our expanding London team. We offer a dynamic industry environment with opportunities for career growth, including senior roles for experienced crew members.

The Role:

We provide labour for the Events Industry across London and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include:

1. Loading and unloading trucks
2. Setting up sound, lighting, and AV equipment
3. Building and dismantling sets and staging
4. Working as site crew/production crew/runners at festivals and corporate events
5. General labouring, including heavy lifting and support tasks
6. Driving jobs outside London using own or company vehicles
7. Plant operation (Telehandler, Counterbalance, IPAF, etc.)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, from newcomers to seasoned professionals. Essential qualities include:

• Willingness to work unsociable hours and weekends
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
• Smartphone for work communication and scheduling

What We Offer:

Starting pay from £13/hour (plus shift bonuses) for inexperienced crew, up to £23/hour for experienced supervisors, plus bonuses. Training is provided, covering lighting, sound, stage building, set design, carpentry, and more. Work is on a self-employed basis, with support for tax returns, UTR numbers, and bookkeeping. Inductions and ongoing training will give insight into various aspects of the events industry.
