The Company:

Konnect Event Services is a premium supplier of Events Crew nationwide. We are looking for physically fit and motivated individuals to join our expanding London team.

We can provide the perfect new challenge and career within a dynamic and interesting industry. Experienced Events Crew are also encouraged to get in touch for more senior roles.

The Role:

We provide labour for the Events Industry. The work is varied and takes place all over London and the surrounding areas. You will help our clients set up and take down events.

Your duties will include:

1. Loading and unloading trucks
2. Setting up sound, lighting and AV equipment
3. Building and dismantling set and staging
4. Working as site crew/production crew/runners on festivals and corporate shows
5. General labouring with plenty of heavy lifting and support
6. Drivers are needed for jobs outside London (own vehicle or Konnect vehicles can be used)
7. Plant Operators needed (Telehandler, Counterbalance, IPAF etc.)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

1. Open to both newcomers and experienced Events workers.
2. Willing to work unsociable hours and weekends, as it’s a 24-hour industry.
3. Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
4. The role involves heavy lifting; candidates must be able to handle this.
5. A smartphone is essential for communication and scheduling.

What We Offer:

The pay starts from £13p/h (plus shift bonuses) for inexperienced crew and can go up to £23 an hour for top experienced supervisors, plus bonuses.

Training will be provided during inductions and onsite, offering insights into Lighting and Sound, Stage Building, Set Design, and Carpentry across various Events, from Festivals to Corporate Shows and Exhibitions.

You’ll be working on a self-employed basis, with support on tax returns, UTR numbers, and bookkeeping, explained during inductions and initial phone interviews.
