An exciting opportunity has arisen within our collections department for a Transport Planner/Co-ordinator. The Transport Planner/Co-ordinator will play a key role in delivering Enva’s services daily by optimizing route efficiency for roll-on/roll-off and skip vehicles, ensuring maximum driver productivity and high customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating an effective and efficient daily transport plan, ensuring all customer orders are assigned to appropriate trucks and access times.
  • Proactively monitoring the delivery plan's progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure all orders are completed on the day.
  • Taking accountability for daily operational issues, liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments to find positive resolutions.
  • Performing end-of-shift debriefs with drivers to capture and communicate relevant daily activity information.
  • Updating internal systems accurately to ensure issues are documented and orders are processed and billed promptly.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Good knowledge of planning and route efficiency techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly to prevent failures.
  • Strong communication skills to influence drivers, customers, and internal teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Transport Planner/Co-ordinator in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Working Time and Driving Legislation.

You will work 45 hours per week with a lunch break, on a rolling 2-shift pattern:

W1 – 6am – 4pm

W2 – 8am – 6pm

Additional hours may be required during peak season (Saturday morning rota) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the transport department.
