Finance Manager - 12+ Month Fixed Term Contract - Wallingford

Finance ManagerLocation: Wallingford (2 Days per week onsite)
Salary: £55,000
FTC Length: Upto 18 Months

Responsibilities :

• Conduct monthly P&L reviews with department heads, ensuring adjustments are processed and reconciliations are updated.
• Manage Corporate Head Office accounts, disclosures, and transactional work while enhancing processes and controls.
• Oversee UK and European banking matters, including credit card controls and foreign exchange cost optimisation.
• Support audits and statutory financial reporting, ensuring deadlines are met and improvements identified.
• Coordinate finance teams and auditors, leading efforts on capital contributions, acquisitions, and year-end dividend processes.
• Ensure payroll processing, confidential payments, and financial transactions are handled effectively.
• Lead finance-related projects, including policy implementation, and internal assessments.

Requirements :

• Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or working towards qualification, would also consider QBE options.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel and other financial systems
• Highly organised, solution-focused, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in stakeholder presentations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to lead and guide teams effectively.
