Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week (Up to 48 hours as per rota). Job ref: 419-7067216-TG-M-Y. Employer: York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Employer type: NHS. Requirements: Full GMC registration and license to practice, current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, and a minimum of 12 months NHS experience at the start date.

Ideal candidates will have completed the IMT programme or equivalent, with experience in leadership, service management, and rota management.

Main duties of the job

While these are not recognized NHS/UK training posts, we aim to provide similar development opportunities, including:

  • Named clinical supervisor
  • Local induction and training information
  • Personal Development Plan and annual appraisal
  • Funding and paid time for study leave (£500/year)
  • Support for obtaining certificates to meet foundation competencies

Post-holders will join supportive clinical teams, with opportunities for professional development and participation in audits. The post may involve rotation within specialties.
