ServiceNow Developer

My client, a large consultancy, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a 6-month contract. The role is mainly remote, with 1 or 2 days per week required on-site in Reading.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing on the ServiceNow platform, specifically with core ITSM and ITOM modules, and a proven track record of designing and delivering technical solutions. Familiarity with integrating external platforms/data into ServiceNow, following best practices, is essential. Additionally, experience with at least one of the following programming languages is required: Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Preferred candidates will have experience with at least one of the ServiceNow modules such as HR, SecOps, CMDB, or Virtual Agent. Experience with the ServiceNow Catalogue Builder and Flow Designer components is also desirable. Candidates should have experience working within a DevOps environment, understanding related processes and controls.
