Job summary

Weare inviting applications to fill a Clinical Fellow vacancy at The LeedsTeaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the Department of Adult Congenital HeartDisease (ACHD).

Thispost will commence 6th of August 2025 and will be for 1 year.

Thispost is suitable for candidates who have completed IMT2 (or equivalent).

Essentialqualifications: MBBS or equivalent.

Essentialexperience: Core Training in General Medicine or equivalent. The post wouldsuit a candidate either with some Cardiology experience who wishes to gainspecific experience in ACHD, or a candidate with little or no experience inCardiology who is looking to pursue Cardiology as a career. Many previousfellows have successfully moved from this post to a formal Cardiology trainingscheme. This post carries no on call commitment.

Candidatesmust be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license topractice by the intended start date.

  • Be eligible for full registration with, and hold a current licence to practise from the GMC at intended start date. Please can you include your GMC number and renewal date.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent (as required to complete Foundation competences) by intended start date
  • Demonstrable skills in the English language and passed relevant testing if required.
  • 36 months experience after full GMC registration or equivalent
  • Evidence of achievement of ST3 competencies in medicine or Surgery (as defined by the curricula relating to Core Medical training or Core Surgical Training)
