Our portfolio includes Crisis Management, Energy, Financial Lines, Marine, Political Risk, Property, and Terrorism. We develop tailored insurance solutions based on deep industry expertise.

Syndicate 2019 offers Lloyd's investors access to AIG's Private Client Select portfolio. Since becoming part of AIG in 2018, Talbot has been committed to delivering industry-leading solutions, headquartered in London with offices in New York and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain reserves for complex and large claims.
• Negotiate claims with brokers, including face-to-face negotiations when necessary, especially where Talbot is the lead or second lead.
• Represent the syndicate at market meetings and lead meetings when appropriate.
• Attend client meetings.
• Lead projects outside of claims responsibilities to add value.
• Support senior leadership to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience handling direct and facultative reinsurance claims in Financial Lines.
• Proven ability to manage complex claims through discovery, dispute resolution, mediation, and court processes.
• Experience delivering projects related to business strategy or organizational change.
• Ability to represent Talbot externally at a senior level.
