Job Description:

A well-respected mainstream secondary school in Putney is currently seeking 2 recent graduates for 1:1 teaching assistant positions with students with a range of moderate and specific additional needs (SEND). Working 1:1 in inclusive classes within the mainstream school, this role will enable you to gain valuable insight into working in SEND inclusion and the challenges it poses to the UK education sector. You will develop transferable communication and interpersonal skills and gain direct teaching experience, which can help you apply for various teacher training routes, including Teach First. Exceptional candidates may also be considered for permanent roles and Schools Direct teacher training positions.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and genuinely interested in a career in education. The roles are to start in September 2024, with trials arranged in May and June. Salary is £100 per day.
