About The Ostrich

Located on the historic Bristol harbourside, The Ostrich features a large pub garden and cozy interiors over two floors. Upstairs, the newly refurbished ‘Top Deck’ dining space and bar offer stunning views over the harbour, perfect for dining and private events. Please note that table bookings are only available in the Top Deck bar; outside seating is first-come, first-served.

Our menu celebrates traditional British pub classics, seasonal local produce, small plates, sharing boards, and our famous pies and bar snacks. On Sundays, enjoy Bristol’s best roasts and our signature sharing pies. Behind the bar, we serve award-winning Butcombe beers and an extensive rum selection, reflecting The Ostrich’s roots as a dockside inn for sailors, merchants, and dock-workers.
