About The Ostrich

Perched on the edge of the historic Bristol harbourside, The Ostrich features a large pub garden and cosy interiors over two floors. The recently refurbished ‘Top Deck’ dining space and bar offer stunning views over the harbour and are available for private hire. Please note, table bookings are only available in the Top Deck bar; outside seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our menu celebrates traditional British pub classics with seasonal, local produce, including exciting small plates, sharing boards, famous pies, and Sunday roasts, with a focus on sharing dishes.

Behind the bar, we serve award-winning Butcombe beers and an extensive rum selection, paying homage to The Ostrich’s roots as a dockside inn frequented by sailors, merchants, and dock-workers.
