Job Description:

Role Overview: At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Project Engineer - Strategic Systems at HMNB Clyde, Devonport Royal Dockyard, or Babcock Technology Centre, with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves working with the MoD on strategic systems for in-service submarines, impacting the business and working within a dynamic, diverse team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions and manage work packages/projects
• Apply engineering/domain knowledge to achieve outputs
• Deliver tasks on time with high quality
• Support business growth and development
• Maintain high standards of conduct and stakeholder relations

This is a full-time role (35 hours/week) with hybrid working arrangements.

Essential Experience:

• Understanding of Project Life Cycle management
• Experience in Project Management or Engineering disciplines
• Experience with MS Projects (beneficial)
• Stakeholder management skills
• Systematic approach and problem-solving mindset

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or Project Management, or demonstrable experience
• Professional registration with an engineering institution (beneficial)

Security Clearance:

The candidate must be a sole UK national able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) / Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) clearance.
