Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological care team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent role involving weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Please note: You must have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care .

About the Role:

* Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
* Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
* Ensure a safe, clean and supportive environment.
* Promote the rights, choices and wellbeing of those in your care.
* Support compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and legislation.

Requirements:

* Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - essential
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar care setting
* Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills
* Experience in coaching, mentoring and supporting others
* Computer literacy and numeracy
* Audit awareness and understanding of relevant competencies

Important: This location is not accessible by public transport - own transport required.
