Job description

We are seeking a passionate, organised, and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils as they begin their Key Stage 2 journey, building on the foundations laid in Key Stage 1.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
  1. Deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

  2. Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported

  3. Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, using data to inform planning

  4. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  5. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and events

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  2. A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and expectations

  3. Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills as a Year 3 Teacher

  4. A warm, positive, and reflective approach to teaching and learning

  5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  6. A team player with a willingness to contribute to school improvement
