Job description

Permanent – Full Time

We are seeking to recruit a Repairs Supervisor based in Basildon.

About the Role

As a Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team within a project or specific work stream, ensuring excellent service standards and achievement of KPIs. You will assess resource needs, support daily operations, and ensure team objectives are met within time, cost, and budget constraints.

You will manage team performance according to company policy, clarify roles and responsibilities, hold regular review meetings, and coach, mentor, and motivate staff. You will also handle complaints, inform management, and implement action plans to resolve issues.

About You

Candidates should have substantial technical expertise from a trade background (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry) with proven experience. Knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials is essential. You should possess excellent time management, IT, and influencing skills, along with a proactive and flexible approach. A Level 3 trade qualification or Supervisor NVQ and a Blue CSCS card are required.

We value candidates with a strong track record in asset/project management, delivering major works contracts, and a sense of ownership and responsibility. Experience in social housing is highly desirable.

A full UK driving license for at least 12 months is mandatory.
