Join a global IT services and consulting leader as a Platform Engineering Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering transformative technology within one of the UK's most respected banking groups. Salary up to £100k plus bonus with offices in London, Leeds, and Edinburgh, with potential for hybrid working.

In this role, you will be at the heart of technology strategy, mentoring high-performing engineering teams focused on delivering modern, cloud-native applications across digital platforms. You will drive technical leadership, enable a DevSecOps culture, and contribute to governance aligned with the bank's QBR.

Responsibilities:

1. Champion knowledge sharing across and within labs.
2. Drive technical leadership, engineering excellence, interventions strategy, and capability development relevant to platform priorities.
3. Contribute to delivery governance aligning with the bank's QBR, big room planning, agile events, and ceremonies.

Essential skills:

1. Experience in developing modern tech applications, channel experience design, and build.
2. Mentoring large technical teams and evangelising emerging tech practices and trends.
3. Innovation, strategy, and thought leadership.
4. Monitoring, measuring, and improving engineering maturity among feature teams.
5. Public Cloud experience.
6. Engineering leadership to foster an engineering culture.
7. Experience driving engineering in a product-based organization with an agile mindset.
8. Experience promoting DevSecOps and automation culture.
9. Insurance domain experience (highly desired).
10. Tech dependency management, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
11. Tech debt and risk management.

• Base salary of £90,000-£100,000 plus an annual bonus of up to £10,000.
