With the Government's mandate that new conventional petrol or diesel cars cannot be manufactured from 2030, the Electric Vehicle (EV) market is rapidly growing, transforming transportation. The demand for EVs is increasing faster than the charging infrastructure can support. At E.ON, we are leading the way in installing EV charging points to meet this demand, and we are expanding our team.
We are currently seeking an Electrician's Mate (EV Installation) to join our team across the UK. The role involves supporting industrial electrical installations, trunking, tray work, and distribution board installation, including inspection and testing. There is an opportunity, following appropriate training and authorization, to develop skills in EV charger installation. This role offers a valuable development opportunity for an industrial or commercial-focused Electrician’s Mate.
Your key responsibilities include installing and maintaining EV charging equipment, assisting EV Installers with connections to switch panels and distribution boards, and ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks.
