Senior Cyber Security Analyst
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £44,044 (including £2,658 non-concessionary payment)
Flexible working: We offer full-time, part-time, and compressed hours. Hybrid work is possible, with around 40% home working depending on business needs.

The Role: As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will protect against cyber threats such as malware, insider threats, DoS attacks, and phishing. Your daily tasks include investigating alerts, analyzing logs and network traffic with tools like Splunk, monitoring security alarms, creating detection content, and responding to breaches. You will lead process improvements, mentor junior analysts, and support digital forensics and incident response.
About You: You should have a background in cyber security analysis, with at least 6 months' experience as a Cyber Security or SOC Analyst. Experience with host intrusion detection and knowledge of Windows and Linux OS are preferred. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Training and Development: We support your growth through internal and external training, industry qualifications like SANS and CISSP, and opportunities to attend conferences. Travel is optional and infrequent.
