Your role:
The Public Relations team manages communication with over 300,000 residents via traditional and digital channels, ensuring content is relevant, timely, and targeted.
As Assistant Marketing Officer, you will support the delivery of marketing services for the council’s leisure and wellbeing service, Be Well. This includes supporting the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns aligned with operational and commercial objectives, aiming for maximum impact and return on investment.
You will work with other marketing and media officers to promote the council’s leisure and wellbeing offerings, using data and insights to generate creative and innovative ideas.
The role also involves supporting the promotion of local visitor destinations, parks, outdoor adventure locations, and residential offerings in the Lake District, aligning with our 'Progress with Unity' plan to address health inequalities and promote healthy lifestyles.

You should be an experienced marketing professional, knowledgeable about current customer insights and trends, highly organized, and capable of supporting a busy team.
