Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Work within a product development team to create hardware products and solutions to enhance security.
  • Develop and maintain electronic hardware for custom security products for domestic and international partners.
  • Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product development.
  • Participate in training and research activities to develop skills.

About You

To qualify, you should have:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • An understanding of product and system design and development processes.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential qualifications include:

  • A relevant degree (2:2 or higher) in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with electronic schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Experience in RF design, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

  • Design, develop, and document electronic PCB systems.

  • Contribute to library parts creation and project planning.
