An outstanding specialist school for children with social and emotional mental health needs, based in Slough, is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support children with behaviour and mental health issues.
Ideally, the Mental Health Assistant will be a graduate; relevant degrees include Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology, but other subjects will also be considered. A degree is not essential, as candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
The SEN school is in Slough, and the role is full-time, starting ASAP or in September 2023. The children are aged 4 to 11 and require consistent, ongoing support to ensure they receive high-quality, child-centred care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mental Health Assistant to work alongside therapists and psychologists based on-site. You will be mentored, have the chance to shadow sessions, and learn from professionals.
