Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Assistant to support children with social and emotional mental health needs at a specialist school in Slough. This role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or related fields, or candidates with relevant experience. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside trained therapists, psychologists, and counsellors, gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

The role involves supporting children aged 4 to 11 with behaviour and mental health issues, providing consistent, child-centered care. You will have the chance to shadow sessions, be mentored by professionals, and develop your skills in mental health support and special needs education.
