Job description

XPO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Saint Gobain Contract in Wakefield. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a busy and unique warehouse operation. The position is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 23:00. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum DOE. Benefits include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), options to purchase additional days, high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and other perks.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the daily operations of the late shift Warehouse and Transport desk, including customer relationships.
2. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
3. Meeting KPIs and customer SLAs.
4. Participating in HR activities such as incident investigations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
5. Maintaining stock accuracy through manual and automated WMS systems.

Qualifications and skills required:

1. Proven experience in warehouse management.
2. Preferably, experience in a 3PL environment with an understanding of customer needs.
3. Practical knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
4. Leadership experience in managing team performance.
5. SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.
