The UK Brand Activation Manager (UK BAM) will report to the Commercial Director, be part of the Operations Team, and manage the development of the Marketing Assistant. The UK BAM will be responsible for developing and executing integrated brand and trade marketing plans, managing the marketing budget, and liaising with internal stakeholders including Global Marketing, UK Operations, Finance, and the Sales Team. Additionally, they will manage relationships with external customers such as PR and Events agencies, third-party agency partners, buyers, and trade marketeers associated with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Shaping the Brand
- Lead in developing consistent brand activation and execution of Budweiser Budvar in the UK Market.
- Create, develop, and execute the annual brand plan.
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
- Act as the UK market representative within the Export marketing team.
- Ensure consistent brand visibility across all marketing channels.
- Develop relationships with On and Off Trade contacts to support activation activities.
- Manage POS stock and design/produce POS materials.
- Hire and manage the performance of the marketing assistant and third-party suppliers.
- Communications & PR
- Manage UK social media, including content planning and creation with agency support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with social media, events, and PR agencies.
- Experiential
- Plan and execute brand activation events such as festivals, pop-ups, and tastings, focusing on On-Trade.
- Oversee the execution of new Tank site launches, maximizing impact through PR and social media campaigns.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor KPIs for social media, POS management, and activation ROI.
- Report monthly on social media KPIs to Export and UK Business.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in trade marketing or marketing, preferably within the UK beer industry.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external teams.
- Action-oriented, energetic, pragmatic problem solver.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Flexible, adaptable to a fast-paced, small team environment, willing to work outside regular hours.
- Creative thinker with high-level ideas.

- Strong understanding of social media content execution.
- Experience managing relationships beyond direct control.

- Full UK driving license and personal transport.
- Experience in customer-facing roles in On- and Off-Trade channels.
