About

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Practice Nurse to support a GP Surgery in Stockton-on-Tees on a permanent basis.

Supporting our established client, the suitable candidate will provide exceptional healthcare to patients. This GP surgery has 12,000 patients and works collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, and other non-clinical professionals.

Stockton-on-Tees, TS18

Salary:

£42,000 per annum + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus*

Hours:

Minimum 30 hours - Full Time

Desired Days:

The suitable candidate can work reduced hours if needed, with flexible working practices.

Duties of a Practice Nurse:

1. Routine immunisation schedules
2. Cervical screening
3. Contraception reviews and family planning
4. Travel vaccinations, baby immunisations
5. Chronic disease management - Diabetes
6. Dementia reviews
7. Cancer care reviews
8. Health promotion and disease management

Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration with at least 6 months' experience working within a GP Surgery
• Experience using S1 system
• Cytology training
• Experience with Diabetes management
