This requires you to be an independent / supplementaryPrescriber, supporting patients throughout their treatment pathway which willinclude the triage, assessment, diagnosis and where appropriate treatment ofadults and or Children in the care of ADHD 360.
As a clinical lead you will beexpected to be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills in ADHDclinical delivery. You will support staff with medically complex cases and atleast one area of clinical speciality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervision of the clinical team-Oversee and support the clinical work of team members, ensuring adherence tobest practices and regulatory standards. This includes providing 1:1Supervision, Supervised Assessments and Clinical Audit.
Conduct regular team drop ins todiscuss cases, share knowledge, and address challenges. You will be the teams point of contact todiscuss clinical issues including differential diagnoses, medical concerns andprescribing. This will provide an opportunity to ensure a unified approach topatient care, ensuring consistency across ADHD 360 service.
To be responsible for the clinicalinduction and coaching of all new staff within your team, supported by thewider programme of onboarding within the organisation, and to provide supportto the clinician throughout the probationary period as required
Experience of overseeing &managing mental health risk &/or safeguarding concerns raised by your team.This must include the ability to contain and support so they can carry outtheir role efficiently and promote a culture of safe management of risk. Youwill be the first point of contact for support regarding the management of riskproviding advice and guidance and ensuring adherence to the relevantlegislative and legal requirements.
In the absence of the Team Manager,you will be the point of contact for your team members to report and recordclinical incidents, taking all necessary actions to ensure the immediate safetyof patients, their families and staff.
You will have the ability andwillingness to hold productive, but challenging conversations, and followformal processes in collaboration with the Team Manager where team members arenot meeting clinical expectations or quality standards. You will be responsiblefor supporting the clinical element of a team members performance improvementplan.
You will also complete a range ofpatient safety incident reviews and investigations at the instruction of theDirectors and Clinical Assurance Management Team.
