Job description

STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, warehouse, and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit an Areas Sales Manager covering the Midlands and South East area.

The main focus of this role is to maximise our share of new and used truck opportunities by selling within this specified geographical area.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially focused individual with proven success in sales and account management. Experience in the forklift or material handling sector is advantageous but not essential.

You should be self-motivated, capable of seeking new business, and following up on leads. Excellent communication skills, IT literacy, and a commercial mindset are required.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve agreed annual targets for selling new, used, and materials handling equipment.
  2. Generate new leads and develop business opportunities through research and prospecting.
  3. Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to company aims.
  4. Plan and manage a personal business portfolio aligned with the market development strategy.
  5. Demonstrate STILL products and services, assisting customers in selecting the best solutions for their needs.
  6. Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships, including follow-up post-delivery.
  7. Participate in continuous process and procedure improvements with team members.
